Starting on Monday (5 March) it is National Careers Week. To support our students’ future aspirations, we will be holding a variety of sessions at the academy focussed around careers.

Assemblies and tutor sessions all week will have a careers focus for all year groups across the academy. Staff will be sharing details of their previous jobs with students via displays in classrooms, and there will be a new careers based display outside of the library.

All sessions are aimed at getting students to think about possible jobs in the future, the skills they will need for these, and what support there is for them to achieve their goals. Tutor time will be spent looking at career-based skills, which will be important for all students as they move through their education and into employment.
